French Bread Pizza
Sometimes, you just can't beat a classic! This fresh and simple French bread pizza is super customizable and highly satisfying!
My favorite toppings: light red sauce, extra garlic, mushrooms, sautéed onions, jalapeño and chicken with a mix of mozzarella and goat cheese topped with fresh basil and oregano
INGREDIENTS
1 loaf of French bread (*scoop out the middle for a low-carb option)
Olive oil
Red sauce
Italian spices
Your favorite pizza toppings
Mozzarella cheese (or your favorite cheese)
instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Slice your French bread horizontally, then into sections of 3.
Lightly brush outer portion of bread with olive oil.
Spread on sauce then add toppings and spices.
Sprinkle cheese on top.
Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and enjoy. *This is a super simple guilt-free pizza, just keep your 1 piece portion under control.
*I have one small piece of pizza, then make a large arugula salad topped with extra chicken, tomatoes, onions and mushrooms with balsamic vinegar and olive oil or Greek dressing.
